Supercharger GT is a compressor inspired by the rich, tube-driven sound of a boutique hardware unit. A feature-rich follow-up to the Supercharger compressor released in December 2013, Supercharger GT goes beyond modern tube compression by adding dedicated Saturation and Character modes and additional controls for complete sonic fine-tuning.

Supercharger GT was designed for simple yet comprehensive sound shaping. Producers can quickly dial in a wide range of compression effects using a single 'Compress' knob. The effect's automatic make-up gain allows them to stay focused on the sound of the effect without having to compensate for the drop in volume compression can sometimes cause. Pre-set Attack and Release settings provide a starting point for setting Supercharger GT's response to incoming signals – producers can start with Punch, Gentle, and Slam modes. Dedicated Attack and Release controls allow an additional degree of fine-tuning.

Aside from compression, Supercharger GT also delivers a set of tone-shaping controls that make it more than just a compressor effect. A 'Saturation' knob with Mild, Crisp, and Slam saturation types give users three ways to add harmonic content to their tracks. At lower settings, Supercharger GT offers subtle harmonic enhancement. At more extreme settings it delivers raw, distorted coloration. The 'Character' knob can fill in missing low end and smooth out unruly high frequencies with Fat, Warm, and Aggressive character modes adding to its versatility. Furthermore, a mid/side mode lets producers create space in a mix by applying the effect only to the left and right sides of a signal – perfect for adjusting stereo imaging. A detector high pass prevents unruly low end signals from mis-triggering the compressor. Combined, these features provide producers dynamic control, warmth, and sonic shaping in one convenient plug-in.

Supercharger is a versatile compressor effect plug-in delivering warm, colorful, tube-style compression, modeled from a one-of-a-kind hardware unit.

The effect is particularly simple to use, with just a few clearly laid-out controls providing a wide range of sounds from subtle warmth to complete devastation. The input knob and convenient visual display allow producers to set exactly the right input level to drive the compressor. Once the input level is set, producers can quickly dial in a wide range of compression effects using a single 'Compress' knob. The Compress knob is a macro knob, automatically adjusting multiple parameters including make-up gain, the responsiveness of the release control, and the degree of saturation. This means that each position of the dial provides an ideal setting. Punch and Dirt buttons deliver added impact and saturation.

Supercharger complements the existing range of Komplete studio effects with harmonically-rich tube sound, and is optimized for use in Maschine.

Faithful and unique emulation of an old German broadcast compressor/limiter unit U73b.

The device was often used for mastering between 1960 and 1980. It is an all tube vary-mu compressor/limiter with adjustable release time option. We kept the circuit exactly as it was originally designed and only added input and output gain (before and right after compressor circuit) to help with proper adjustment of the compression. The plugin effect has been also supplemented with a VU meter and selectable side-chaining.

U73b is great for mastering, mixing drums, bass, guitar, vocals and voice overs.

The compressor`s controls are very easy, but the effect of this unique device is audible at the same moment you turn it on:

Compressor/Limiter switch – is the upper U73b knob and it switches between Compressor mode (Kompr), Bypass (Durchschalt) and Limiter mode (Begr). The compressor mode has lower threshold setting and very gentle increasing ratio, in opposite, the limiter mode provides higher threshold setting with higher ratio but still with smooth knee.

Deft Compressor is an audio signal compressor plug-in for professional audio production applications. The characteristic feature of this compressor is its ability to produce "slim” and "slick” sounding compression, with intelligibility enhancement effect. Such result is achieved by compressor’s timing function that closely resembles the S-curve (sigmoid curve) on both attack and release stages. S-curve timing function also helps compressor to sound "warm” and "clean” at most settings.

While at high attack settings Deft Compressor can be used to emphasize audio transients, it can also be used to "smash” audio signal if you use attack settings as low as 0.01 millisecond. Even though the S-curve is the marked feature of Deft Compressor, you can smoothly change it to a steeper L-shape by adjusting the "Punch” parameter.

Deft Compressor also features a so called "vintage” compression mode which produces compression sound reminiscent of analog tube compressors: it produces a warm, gently saturated sound with the ability to overdrive the output signal. Beside that, you may switch between the "feed-forward” and "feedback” compression modes. 

Deft Compressor is perfectly usable for compressing vocals, drums, guitars and other instruments, both technically and creatively. Beside that, it can be used to compress mix groups and full mixes.
