Beatstruggles Foundational Drum Loop Basics TUTORiAL
Drum loops make or break a track; it's hard avoiding that repetitive sound.

I feel the main reason producers get stuck is the lack of knowing the basics.

This course covers what all goes into making a solid drum loop, touching on sound placement, sound selection, and precision editing with volume and panning.

If your beat feels it's stuck on repeat, this course could leap a new journey to your productions.

When we hear the word repetitive being used as a descriptive word towards music, we think boring, annoying, and no change up.

The trick is learning to create loops which aren’t annoying, training your ear to think, "If my listener will be listening to my song for 3 minutes (average song length), I want them to enjoy what they’re listening to.”

This course teaches you how to actually build a drum loop.

We even go as far as talking about where safe spots are when placing sounds so your loop sounds good no matter what. Then you can use these basics like panning, volume, and other tips for further moulding.

Master the basics of great drum programming and take your beats from static loops to complete grooves

To me, there is a huge missing gap from online production videos with helping beginning electronic musicians go from being stuck in a loop to writing more full-fledged beats. So it was my intention with this first video to deliver you with the solid foundations of what makes for great programmed drums, and provide you with the skills needed to begin writing more interesting, musical drum parts for your tracks. By getting these very simple foundational ideas under your belt, you begin to understand more about how EDM is structured, how to make beats quickly, and you find yourself making much more creative beats.
