8Dio Free Angels KONTAKT
8Dio Free Angels KONTAKT
Free Angels is a new-generation art software instrument created in collaboration with our talented community. Free Angels was partially created by 100+ sound designers and partially created in-house by 8DIO. The instrument is best described as free and angelic in its nature. It has a white, soft and heavenly body. It is experiential and experimental – a type of divine inspiration.

Free Angels contains over 1.4GB of heavenly sound designs consisting of angelic ambiences, celestial risers, a large set of ethereal plucked instruments, fluffy creatures, heavenly hits, seraphic voices and a bunch of soft and saintly percussion. We didn’t structure the patches with normal patch names. The library is mainly using icons. It is not designed for the stringent and analytical composer, but rather for someone who wants to dive into the unknown and let themselves be randomly inspired by the heavenly concepts of the +100 people who submitted for the project.

8Dio Free Angels KONTAKT

Free Angels is not a conventional sample library. It is a little piece of art software – liberated from normal and orthodox conventions of how things should be. It is beautiful, wild and free. It is sorta like the Lady Gaga for sample libraries.

The Alpine Project came about from a realization about the state of free sample libraries. While there were many free samples in the public domain, there were hard to find, and in varying hard to use formats.

The Alpine Project collects the best public domain musical instrument samples, and combines them with clever scripting and effects in NI’s Kontakt. The result is great sounding free sample libraries that can find a place in the beginning and professional composer’s studio.

The Alpine Project libraries

French Horn — This French Horn Sample Library is based on samples from the University of Iowa Music Instrument Samples. It is very playable and simple to use. But most of all, it has a great sound. The dynamic range of the instrument is very large, due to the modeled dynamics.
English Horn — This English Horn Sample Library is based on samples from the free Eddie’s English Horn Soundfont.
Bass Clarinet — This Bass Clarinet library uses samples from the University of Iowa MIS.

The libraries are available for download for Kontakt 5 or higher (full version).

ARIA Sounds Hybrichord Vol 1 KONTAKT DVDR ARIA Sounds Hybrichord Vol 1 KONTAKT DVDR
The Vol 1 of Hybrichord is our first exploration into what we can really get out of a normal piano, and the initial results are fantastic. Using various means of getting the instrument to vibrate, including wiring the instrument up, using magnets, electric current, etc.

We managed to create some fantastic organic sounding sonic landscapes. The user interface has controls to allow you to shape and sculpt some of the sound to your liking for use in your music. Of course, we have also included a variety of more well known experimental techniques, including picks, plucks, bows, hammers, drumming, screws in the strings etc.

This library contains over 4 GB of excellent cinematic content, recorded at 96KHz, 24-Bit.

...::: Tech Specs :::...
• Samples Are 24-Bit At 96000HZ WAV Files
• 4.3 GB Of Content
• The full version of Kontakt 4 or above is required to run this software.

Glockenspiel with a Raw and Colourful Sound KONTAKT Glockenspiel with a Raw and Colourful Sound KONTAKT
Jonathan’s Glockenspiel was created by composer and sound designer Jonathan Howe.

It consists of 1 and a half octaves and features 7 sampled velocity layers for each note. Naturally it can play in the keys of C, G and F but some samples have been stretched to give you the full chromatic scale and make it a little more versatile. These have been colored red on the keyboard so you know when you are using stretched samples.

Additionally, below the playing range you#ll find some samples of dropping the mallet which you can use for some additional realism, which brings the instrument up to 101 individual samples in total!

It also has a simple reverb on/off switch, a knob reverb size, a humanizing function which you can use to randomly detune the keys and a simple 3-Band EQ.

Last but not least the library also includes a sound design patch which uses the glockenspiel samples and transforms it into a pad-like sound.
