K-Devices Ref for LIVE
K-Devices Ref for LIVE
REF allows you to modulate anything you want in Ableton Live: other devices, the user interface, and third party plug-ins, using sound as source.

You can shape the incoming audio source with the low/high pass filter, listening the source in peak or rms modes, then design the envelope exactly how you need it, using tools as relative/absolute modes, linear/logarithmic modulation, and positive/negative directions. You can even work on your envelopes with standard EG parameters as attack, hold, release, and a global delay time.

REF uses a big display to give you an accurate visual feedback: it will help you to check the incoming audio signal, set the threshold level, and view the real envelope generated, which will control the chosen target parameter.

REF is a great tool for any kind of modulation: kick/bass side-chain combinations, driving filters, and experimental uses asking for controlling parameters from an audio source.

Developed on the Max 6 engine, taking advantage of gen~, REF supports both 32 and 64 bit mode.

REF is developed using exclusively standard Max objects, to guarantee compatibility with latest Live and Max For Live versions.

Ableton Max for Live Essentials v2 Ableton Max for Live Essentials v2
Max for Live Essentials is a collection of audio effects, MIDI effects, drum synthesizers and control devices made with Max for Live, exclusively for Live 9.
Max for Live Essentials features 29 Max for Live Devices, including 16 Instruments, 10 audio effects, and 8 MIDI effects. The Pack also includes Demo Live Sets featuring the Max for Live Synths, Drum Synths, Racks and Audio and MIDI Effect Racks featuring the devices.

Max for Live Essentials include:

BASS: is a virtual analog, monophonic synthesizer that brings the whole sonic palette of deep and classic to heavily distorted, rumbling bass sounds.
POLI is a classic sounding virtual analog synth designed for polyphonic chords and phrases. Its character comes from de-tunable oscillators, a diverse modulation section and a built in chorus.

MULTI is a versatile and fun multimode synthesizer which features 6 synth engines in a single device. It has 8 knobs and 4 of the knobs change the parameters according to one of the selected modes. The global controls are Mode, Attack, Release and Volume.
Drum Synths: 13 custom-created synthesizers for drum and percussion sounds, with velocity control over just about every parameter. Don’t be afraid to try them for leads and basses too.

Audio Effects
Convolution Reverb: A sample-based reverb suite with hundreds of impulse responses of real spaces and world class hardware such as the Bricasti M7. Features two reverb devices, Convolution Reverb and Convolution Reverb Pro for added controls, plus a utility for creating your own reverb spaces.

Buffer Shuffler 2.0: An improved version of Live 8’s Buffer Shuffler, with new effects to sequence (including stutter, gate, pitch, frequency shift, amp, and pan), plus a redesigned interface with improved layout and pattern storage. New, intelligent options for "dice” modes mean that you can precisely fine tune how sequences change over time.
Pitch Drop recreates the sound of a vinyl record slowing down after the turntable's motor is stopped. This results in the effect of the sound being pitched down.

MIDI Effects
Arp is an advanced pattern-based midi Arpeggiator. It can sort, repeat and transpose incoming midi notes in various ways, while controlling a number of other parameters such as note length, velocity and more.

MonoSequencer: Sequence a melody according to a flexible grid, with separate dedicated sequencers for note, velocity, octave, duration, and note repeats. Notes can be locked to key and scale, and each sequence comes with an intelligent randomizer. Sync your sequence with Live, or trigger it with MIDI input.
Instant Haus is a beat generator optimized for house music or broken beats and contains a large variety of patterns for both styles.
NoteEcho: A MIDI Echo with unique features

Simpler Cinematika FREE for Ableton Live Simpler Cinematika FREE for Ableton Live
Six months ago CINEMATIKA was released…
"Flintpope have created 36 scratchy, grainy new Ableton Tension presets for cinematic/ambient/sound-design writers. Don't just think cinema, think indie cinema.”
It occurred to me that Live 9 Intro/Standard users may feel left out so I’ve converted them to SIMPLER format for everyone to enjoy. Don’t just expect plucked string sounds - expect a range of dark ambient textures reworked utilising SIMPLER’S sound morphing tools and a bundled set of FX available in Intro.
Each of the 36 racks features easy-access controls mapped to Attack, Release, Filter Frequency, Filter Resonance, LFO Shape, High Gain, Delay and Reverb.
J74 Steplocker Max for Live J74 Steplocker Max for Live
J74 StepLocker is a sequencing and modulation device for Ableton Live (Max for Live) based on the concept of parameter locking, whereby parameter settings can be associated with each sequencer step. The work-flow in StepLocker is very simple: choose one or more steps in the sequencer, select a parameter in Ableton Live, set its value and lock it. You can do this for any parameter, in any device, in any track of Live. On top of this StepLocker offers also classic step sequencer features such as playback manipulation (step numbers, random step order), value interpolation, randomization and (post-locking) editing (copy, paste, erase).
K-Devices EXT 2.2 Max for Live K-Devices EXT 2.2 Max for Live
EXT 2 is a Max For Live audio effect designed to modulate anything you want in Ableton Live: any control in other devices, in Live’s UI, and in any third party plug-in.

EXT 2 is very easy to use: just click the "select” toggle, then click the parameter in your Ableton Live set to apply its step modulation. Target’s name is displayed in EXT 2′s UI, you can scale outcoming values to a specific range.

EXT 2 add a bunch of new features: clicking the "envelope” toggle you can activate the step envelope mode, using three dedicated step sequencer to define step’s length, shape and peak direction. These envelopes will be then applied to the main step sequencer amplitude, so each step could be exclusively shaped following your needs.

Ext 2 can swing too: increase the amount, and let your modulation get groovy! For more action: do not forget to test what time variation slider can do!
K-Devices TED Max for Live K-Devices TED Max for Live
TED is a Max For Live highly editable LFO that may act also as a function generator. With TED’s signal, you can modulate any parameter in Ableton Live: from other devices’s parameter, to Live’s UI, to any third party plug-in.

TED is very easy to use: just click the "select” toggle, then click the parameter in your Ableton Live set to apply its modulation signal.

It is composed of three main areas: the main oscillator, with 6 morphable waveforms (SINE TRIANGLE SAWTOOTH PULSE 50%/50% PULSE 90%/10% RANDOM ), a sample and hold circuit with adjustable amount, and an effect section.

The effect section contains a wave-folding effect that may act as wave-folder, wave-wrapper or wave-clipper, a smoothing effect and a scalable output, where you can select the minimum and the maximum range of modulation.

TED is also CV/GATE compatible, to use with your CV/GATE compatible hardware, as a modular system. Please note that in order to use the CV/GATE feature a DC coupled audio interface or D/A converter is required.
