Unique Wooden Percussive Sounds from Planks KONTAKT
Wooden Percussion was recorded by smacking wooden decking planks together – the result is a cool organic, wooden percussive sound (with 4 round robins) that’s great for underscore or even indie music!
High and Low Toasted Percussion Sounds KONTAKT
Toaster Percussion is exactly what the name suggests – a sample library made entirely from a toaster!
Every part of a toaster was recorded creating a great range of sounds that are perfect for underscore or percussive music.
Cling Film Frame Drums KONTAKT
Cling Film Frame Drums is a deep sounding percussion instrument made in the kitchen.
It was created by recording hits on cling film on a bowl, and sounds like a real frame drum – perfect for underscore and cinematic music.
Cling Film Frame drums was recorded by sampling multiple hits of cling film over a bowl with dinner’s leftovers in it.
It has a nice deep sound that works perfectly for cinematic, underscore and ethnic music, sounding just like a high pitched tom drum or bonjo drum.
Tonehammer Anti Drum Vol.2 KONTAKT DVDR-SUNiSO
AntiDrum 2 is a follow-up to our popular Anti-Drum I. This time we wanted to push the bar even further into the realm of abstract percussion and musical exploration. This library is the ideal creative toolbox for experimental sound and music design. The library contains 3866 samples and 71 different instrument patches that each represent a unique texture. The library contains a variety of instruments recorded in one of our signature halls, including boom whackers, PVC pipe percussion ensemble to flower vases, glasses, rainsticks, soda bottles. The library also contains a variety of even more unconventional instruments ranging from human beats through a cellphone (10 round robin and 10 velocity layers), stop watches and a compressive patch made from a severe food poisoning that we call: "the human trumpet".

Tonehammer Waterphone KONTAKT DVDR-DYNAMiCS
We decided to sample this instrument deeper and more creatively then ever before in the history of samples. The best current water phone libraries contains approx. 180-200 samples, which is less then 1/15 of the Tonehammer Waterphone, which contains a mighty 2,903 samples recorded with a variety of bows, a huge set of mallets, metal devices, hands and other contraptions.
The library also contains a variety of more experimental patches, including boiled water at four different temperature levels, hydrophone recordings (underwater microphones in the waterphone), magnets on waterphone tines and filling waterphone with metal nails and other goodies. The sample library simply covers all thinkable and unthinkable type of articulations and we can proudly state we sampled the living soul out of the waterphone. All playable mallet programs contains our standard 10 velocity layer - 10 round robin for maximum playability. In addition Waterphone contains a bonus set of waterphone ambiences (note: Kontakt 3 only) made by Steven Tavaglione (Instrumentalist and Sound Designer; Wall-E, American Beauty, CSI, Supernatural and 100s other movies/shows/games).

Tonehammer Clack KONTAKT
The theme and purpose of Clack! is pretty simple. We wanted to capture as much sharp, bright, warm, tonal wooden impact percussion as your heart desires. We captured several bamboo poles, bamboo logs, a whole pile of claves, woodblocks, clappers, box drum, and other assorted wooden implements that epitomize the word "thwack." These elements are specifically ideal auxiliary elements for orchestral composition and epic film/tv/game soundtrack scoring. They also are vital elements in Latin music and hip hop, as well as very useful percussion building-blocks and raw source material for experimental music and IDM.
We recorded all of these sets up-close and 90% dry, in a medium-sized hardwood and masonry percussion studio, providing just the right amount of body and liveliness. All presets include a Release knob to allow you to dial in just the right amount of room you need. All instruments were captured with 10 round-robins per velocity layer, with an average of 6 velocity layers per note. The modwheel controls the tightness of room decay in all patches that don't use the modwheel for other purposes, such as cross-fading or swapping between layers. Any patch that has "mw" appended to the nki filename also uses the modwheel for a special function.
We also included 9 unique sets of ambient drones as a bonus. We created them entirely from the original Clack sample source material, using special sound design techniques. These multi-layered sound-scapes utilize the modhweel to allow you to sculpt and morph these ambiences very expressively. The rich flavors of these custom drones range from bright and orchestral, to choral, to thunderous, to quite dark and gritty.
5"x6' bamboo logs (23 articulations)
1"x7' small bamboo poles (6 articulations)/li>
2 sets of castanets (solo and unison)
Wooden trident clapper (single notes and sustaining rolls)
7 assorted pairs of claves (7 articulations)
Classic wooden popgun
Rattle impacts (4 different rattles/shakers)
Whaledrum "cajon" (4 articulations)
Semi-tuned woodblocks (6 articulations)
Misc mallet shaft & handle strikes (2 articulations)
Clack! includes a complete set of custom controls to dial in sounds like never before. By adjusting the attack, you can round out an articulation to a soft, swelling sound. Use the offset feature and cut into the sample removing the harsh transient altogether. Adjust the Release knob to cut the sample down to a mere fraction of a second. All articulations are velocity sensitive and you can use the Swell knob to further sculpt the volume. Each articulation has been tuned to it's dominant frequency and chromatically spread out across the keys allowing this library to serve as both percussion and melody. The stepping knob provides pitch-shifting of ±48 semitones with optional key-switching for ±12 semitones.
Our Tone / FX controls give you access to a number of effects to shape the sounds further. The 3-band EQ gives you ±18db of Low, Mid and High with a fully adjustable Mid Freq. sweep from 20Hz to 20kHz. Other effects include Lo-Fi with adjustable bit-depth and sampling frequency, Flanger, Rotator, Pro-53 Filter, Delay with tempo-synch, Convolution Reverb and a Stereo Modeller. The Uberpeggiator is another powerful feature included in most Percussion and FX patches. It's an advanced arpeggiator allowing control over tempo-synched rhythm timing, number of hits, swing, repeat, pitch, scale and a full 16-step velocity table.
SM Free Maracas
We are announcing a free Kontakt instrument featuring sampled maracas percussion instruments. This is the updated version of Mkhitaryan Production's Natural Maracas instrument.
"Maracas sometimes called rumba shakers and various other names, are percussion musical instruments–rattles—that originated in Latin America. They are classified as idiophones. Players hold them by their handles, usually in pairs, and shake them. raditional maracas consist of hollow balls made from dried gourd shell or coconut shell filled with seeds or dried beans and mounted on a wooden handle."
The pack contains 1 NI Kontakt instrument (Kontakt 4+), Cover images and Demo track. HQ Maracas sound with a little reverb will give your music an atmosphere of Cuba and Brazil. Download Free below.
