nativeKONTROL PXT-General for Ableton Push WiN/MAC
nativeKONTROL PXT-General for Ableton Push allows the controller to be used in more meaningful ways with software other than just Ableton Live.

FLEXIBLE ARCHITECTURE

PXT-General’s feature set makes it possible to use Push in a variety of useful ways:

-Use Push (without Live) to control and play instruments in virtually any application that can receive MIDI input.
-Switch between using Push’s functionality in Live and PXT-General functionality in another application.
-Extend the functionality of Push’s User Mode when using Push exclusively with Live.

NOTE MODE-LIKE FUNCTIONALITY

PXT-General provides functionality that is very similar to Push’s Note Mode in Live with access to all of the Scale Types you’re used to, In Key and Chromatic options and 4ths and Sequent note layouts.

PXT-General includes some additional features that are useful for playing instruments such as:

-User Scale Types - Five easy-to-edit Scale Types are accessible in addition to the standard Scale Types.
-Add Note Options - Allows the Pads to play up to three notes each, which makes playing Chords and Octave Stacks easier.
-Learn Buttons - The Buttons to the right of the Pads can play Chords or Sequences of up to 16 notes each that can be easily Learned/assigned via playing notes from the Pads.
-Touch Strip Type Setting - Allows the Touch Strip to be used for Pitch Bend or as a Mod Wheel.
-Aftertouch Type Setting - Allows you to choose the type of Aftertouch (Channel or Polyphonic) the Pads will send.

USER ASSIGNABILITY

PXT-General includes a very powerful and easy-to-use User Assignments Editor that allows you to customize the controller to suit your particular workflow and the application you’re using. Editing features include:

-Mackie Control Emulation Options - Allows Buttons, Encoders and the Display to be used for emulating the Mackie Control, which allows for powerful and flexible control over any software that supports the Mackie Control protocol. NOTE: PXT-General does not provide HUI emulation.
-Multi-Mode Option - Allows you to opt to have up to six sets of assignments for the Track Selection/State Buttons, Encoders and the Display.
-Keyboard Macro Options - Allows you to easily assign multiple sets of keyboard Macros or single keystrokes to the Track Selection/State Buttons as well as choose the names that will be shown in the Display for these assignments.
-MIDI Message Type/Channel Options - Allows you to choose the type of MIDI messages the Buttons and Encoders send and receive as well as the MIDI channel they should use.
-LED Control/Color Options - Allows you to choose the way in which Button LEDs will be controlled and the colors (where applicable) they should use.

SolFi Ear Trainer 3™ (for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch) is an ear training application for students of music to improve their listening skills. It contains some basic exercises used by many schools to teach their students. It assumes the audiok.info user has some knowledge of music theory.
IT CONTAINS THREE EXERCISES

Pitch Dictation - Given a tonic note, one or more notes are played sequentially. The user is asked to annotate the sequence using solfege or pitch names (for perfect pitch/absolute pitch). The user can choose up to four parts.
Chord Identification - Three or more notes from a specific key are played melodically or harmonically. The user is asked to choose from a given set of chords and inversions.
Interval Identification - Two notes are played melodically or harmonically. The user is asked to choose from a given set of intervals. This can be used to improved one's relative pitch skills.

PITCH DICTATION

This exercise will help improve your listening skills using solfege/pitch names. A melody is played and you must identify each note in the melody using the notes on top. Your answer for each note appears on the bottom. Once you finish, press "Verify" to validate your answer. If your answer is correct, a new melody is played. If it is incorrect, the incorrect notes will be highlighted in red and the correct answer will be shown beneath each incorrect note.
CHORD IDENTIFICATION

This exercise will help you distinguish between different chords. Chords can be played harmonically/melodically (by changing the bpm setting) and ascending/descending. Correct answers will cause a new chord to play. For incorrect answers, the correct answer will be shown.
INTERVAL IDENTIFICATION

This exercise will help you distinguish between different intervals. Intervals can be played harmonically/melodically (by changing the bpm setting) and ascending/descending. Correct answers will cause a new interval to play. For incorrect answers, the correct answer will be shown.
KEYBOARD

In landscape mode, a keyboard will appear to help the user with any exercise or just general practice. When viewed from any exercise, the keyboard will highlight and scroll to the tonic note being used by the current exercise. It will also switch between solfege/letter notes depending on the exercise settings.

Powerful Virtual-Analog Synthesis
Magellan Jr's three analog-modeling oscillators, true PWM wave generation, dedicated osc unison module, and dual independent LFOs give it unique strengths and adaptability. In addition, Magellan Jr's FM module is an extra sound generator in itself so that no frequency goes uncharted.

Magellan Jr has two dedicated filter slots able to receive any of the 11 unique filter types. You can run the filters in series, or in parallel and blend them to taste. Each slot has its own ADSR envelope, cutoff, resonance/Q and contour settings, as well as tracking and envelope curve selection.
Arps & Chords

Magellan Jr comes complete with a full-featured arpeggiator as well as a chordmaker. With 10 algorithms to choose from, as well as octave, repeat and gate settings and more, you can quickly program and perform arpeggios. You can turn on the Chordmaker and then play chords by touching a single key, and even program and save your own chord progressions.
Sequencer

Magellan Jr has a built-in polyphonic step sequencer influenced by revered analog boxes. With up to 8 note polyphony, 16 or 32 step programming, pattern bank, settable end step, step skip, note velocity and gate, as well as a performance friendly timelock feature, it is a comprehensive live performance tool. In addition, it has a programmable timeline for composing songs out of sequenced patterns, and a file import/export feature.
Keyboards & Expressive Touchpads

Magellan Jr includes dual traditional keyboards, as well as two touchpad controllers. The touchpads can be assigned a musical scale and a key for convenient onscreen performance. In addition, touchpads allow for individual voice parametrization for things like filter cutoff or voice volume. You can also configure the amount of glide when moving from step to step to anywhere between full note-snapping to completely free ribbon-like pitch control.
FX Rack

Magellan Jr comes with a comprehensive virtual FX rack that includes a multi-parameter reverb, BPM-syncable stereo delay, phaser, flanger, chorus, waveshaper, bitcrusher, and a sonic expander; all of which is processed in 32-bit floating point, as the rest of the audio.
Presets: Easy to Create & Share

Magellan Jr comes from the factory with over 300 presets, ranging from basses to pads to arpeggios. It includes two smashing banks of over 60 patches produced by Sunsine Audio. You can create, save and share limitless banks and presets of your own without hassle!
Modulation / LFOs

With its two independent LFOs, Magellan Jr provides an extensive "modulation matrix". Each LFO is able to receive up to 3 destinations, which you can conveniently assign from a list. LFOs have their own rate, phase and trigger-delay settings, 3 reset modes, as well as 9 waveforms to choose from, including random hard and soft types. Each destination has its own dedicated amplitude.
Powerful MIDI Implementation

With extensive CoreMIDI and Virtual MIDI capabilities, Magellan Jr can be controlled by your preferred external MIDI keyboard, your favorite vMIDI app or a MIDI Network Session. Conveniently program and control the Synth, Arp, FX or Sequencer modules. Audio backgrounding, MIDI I/O ports, MIDI Learn feature with 256 controllable parameters, and the ability to save your CC configuration are just some of Magellan's MIDI-friendly features.
